We are a small select show/breeding kennels based in a beautiful rural setting near Market Weighton, East Yorkshire, only 5 minutes from the M62 motorway. We started showing in 1986 having owned Great Danes and doing some obedience with German Shepherds, which we had a lot of fun with. .

My first Show dog was a Great Dane, Aserets Ringquest- 'Bonnie' in 1986

In 1998 we purchased our first boxer, having admired the breed for a number of years; we decided to buy in a smart brindle/white bitch from the Roamaro Kennels called 'ROAMARO NIKE' (Cybil). We did fairly well with her at the championship and open shows that she attended and we registered our Affix 'DIBRID' shortly after her first birthday. In 2001 we decided to mate her; she produced a lovely litter of seven puppies born on Christmas Eve 2001. Out of this litter we kept a smart brindle/white bitch called DIBRID HUSTLE 'N' BUSTLE (Eva). She did well at the shows and qualified for Crufts by winning a Best in show at 16 months old. Unfortunelty Eva wasn't the best producer in the whelping box and despite been mated to different Stud dogs never produced anything suitable that we could continue her lines from.

Heart-Tested '1'

We have always admired the continental lines, mainly for there beautiful heads and super bone which does not appear to be in the majority of some of the British boxers seen today. This is when we approached the world famous Marbelton Boxers and ended up buying in Marbelton Rockin Robin shortly after we bought in Marbelton Star Attraction, they are are both superb stud dogs and between them have sired nearly 80 litters in the UK to date, Walter is the sire of some lovely show puppies that we have bred for ourselves and for other breeders. A few years later we bought in the lovely bitch Marbelton Miss Dior, we have done very well indeed in the showring with Dior, she is Crufts qualified 2006 & has recently qualified for 2007, Dior was mated to Visage Volare of Santonoaks, we felt that this dog had what Dior needed to improve on her conformation and it seems that it worked very well, Dior gave birth to four lovely puppies, a lovely red & white girl was born first, 1 solid red girl and 2 solid red boys, we ended up keeping the 2 girls, the red flashy girl was Sparkle (Dibrid Glitz 'n'Glamour), she has been verysuccesful in the showring and to dat has won numerous Best Puppies at Open shows, 1 best puppy at a championship show, 1 best puppy bitch at a championship show...we have also shown her abroad and delighted that she has won 2 CAC'S, 2 RCAC'S & 1 RCACIB...she is the only boxer bred from the UK that has been shown in Spain and also placed 3rd and graded Excellent, she has also been shown in Holland, France and Slovakia where she has won 1st places. We are certainly proud of her and hope that the best is to come with Sparkle. In 2008 we Imported from The Czech Rebublic 'Ergo Pecinska Ruze' we are sure that he will be a great asset not only to us but to other breeders who wish to widen their gene pool. With now having such solid lines to base our kennel upon with excellent QUALITY bloodlines of continental and top English lines we are certainly looking forward to what we are sure to be a bright future.

We enjoy showing the dogs although mainly they are our pets. We never showed the dogs as often as we would of liked, due to the fact that I never passed my driving test until 2004 which was a great weight lifted off my shoulders, gone were the days of relying on people for lifts to shows and catching trains to shows with 2 dogs and the show bag which was something of a nightmare to say the least. Anyway glad to say that that is now all behind me and I can now enter any show that I like without the worry. We have a lovely boy who we are campagning 'STAR QUALITY AT DIBRID' and he is certainly living up to his name, he is sired by our red & white top producing stud dog Walter and looks very very promising. At a year old has won numerous Best Puppy in show awards, and Best puppy and best of breed awards also Best & Reserve Best Puppy in Show Awards also he is CRUFTS qualified 2008 & 2009.
